Officials report water is safe for consumption

15 Aug 2010
The City of Ames reported on Sunday afternoon that the “boil” alert is over and water quality has been restored. Officials made the announcement after numerous water samples came back free of harmful bacteria. Water can be consumed and used as normal on campus and throughout the city.

ISU Dining is responding accordingly and service will go back to normal as soon as possible. Some locations may still use bottled beverages until soda fountains have been flushed.
