Scholarships have been awarded since 1990 by the National Association of College & University Food Services in honor of Clark E. DeHaven, for his outstanding leadership as the associations’ first executive director. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors planning for a career in the foodservice industry and majoring in a foodservice related field of study are eligible. The scholarship is intended to be used during the traditional academic year (fall through spring) for academic purposes such as tuition, fees, room and board, and/or books. Scholarships will be awarded for full-time undergraduate study only.
This scholarship is awarded annually each spring. The application deadline has passed for 2006. Please check next fall for 2007 application information.

Sponsored by the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) and offered in cooperation with the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I). During this time we have provided 8 weeks of hands-on management training to almost 1,900 students, and in 2005 placed 58 interns at 37 colleges and universities around the United States and in Australia.
